Zimbra 'Open Source' Edition

Post by talaverde »

This might be a dumb question but I need to be sure. Is there a separate 'Open Source' Zimbra aside from the Zimbra Collaboration suite? Or, are both of those always referring to the same thing? I'm asking because I saw the TOTP/2FA add on for the 'open source' edition. I realize that's not the official 2FA and it's 'use at your own risk'. Before I invest a bunch of time to try it out, I want to be sure it's actually meant to be used with the Collaboration suite and not some other 'open source' forked version of Zimbra. Thanks.

It is the same product. Without a paid-for license you will have the Open Source features. With a paid license you can get additional features and "support"
