ZxAuth: Invalid Domains Data after patch

Post by cyber7 »

Good morning everyone
I hope you are all safe and well!

After patching my server this morning

Code: Select all

Old version: 9.0.0_GA_3990 20201210230251 20201210-2332 NETWORK
New version: 9.0.0_GA_4000 20210121015428 20210121-0225 NETWORK
I get this message:
ZxAuth: Invalid Domains Data From server mymail.DOM.co.za
The following domains are missing:
Domain 'DOM.co.za.archive' is missing host name.
Domain 'DOM.co.za' is missing host name.
Anyone have an idea what this is about?

kind regards
Aubrey Kloppers (aka cyber7 - South Africa)

Hi Aubrey,

It is part of a configuration verification check that the Zextras components inside of Zimbra does for all email domains to ensure they have a few of the basic settings set. The solution is to edit the domain settings in your Zimbra Admin Console, and ensure the public service name, port number, and protocol are filled-in for all domains. More information is available in an earlier posting at: http://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php? ... d8#p299850 under the topic "Missing Domain Settings".
