Hi folks, I just completed a migration from Postfix/Dovecot IMAP/CentOS 5.9 to Zimbra 8.6 Network Edition on CentOS 7. I wanted to avoid a lengthy downtime during the actual switch over, so I managed to sync email before the switch, which kept the downtime quite reasonable. For me it was a big project, and took some time to produce a viable plan, so I put my notes on a website, in case it helps others. Here's the link:

It should be helpful to others who are planning a migration, scratching their heads, regardless of the platform they're using.
If you see an easier way to do a migration, please leave a comment. The whole process was more complicated than I ever would have imagined.
