Documents tab : IE warning of mixed http/https content

Postby dik23 » Tue Jan 18, 2011 7:52 am

I have installed ZCS OSE 6.0.10 GA on Ubuntu 8.04
Zimbra is running on the subdomain zimbra.mydomain.com with zmtlsctl set to redirect
All seems to work fine apart from one issue
When I use IE6/8 (most of my users will use IE) and click on the Documents tab I get a warning :
Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?
This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection which would compromise the security of the webpage.

If click "Yes" it causes formatting issues.
This only happens with IE
Apart from disabling Documents (which I don't want to do - the Documents tab is useful) or advising users to click "No" (generally a bad plan) I don't know what to do.
Please help

Documents tab : IE warning of mixed http/https content

Ok - I think I have found where the problem is ...
Admin Console > Domains > General Info > Public Service Host Name
I have to enter the sub-domain zimbra.mydomain.com in order to be able to view/download etc files stored in the briefcase. If I don't then when I click on files in the briefcase it links to mydomain.com not the sub-domain and so cannot find the file.
This is fixed by entering the sub-domain as the Public Service Host Name.
However this breaks the ability to view the Documents Tab on both IE 6 and 8 (poss others too) without being given the error mentioned in my first post.
Should I be submitting a bug report for this ?
Edit : even if I put mydomain.com in Public Service Host Name it causes this error
Edit2: This happens with both the AJAX and HTML front end
