I have a zimbra error:
When I try to send a e-mail from bbb@bbb.com(@bbb.com is not a zimbra domain) to (@ aaa.com is my zimbra domain) a get the following error on @bbb.com domain:
Failed to deliver to ''
SMTP module(domain [192.168.1.100]) reports:
host 192.168.1.100 says:
504 5.5.2 : Recipient address rejected: need fully-qualified address
Original-Recipient: rfc822;
Final-Recipient: rfc822;
Action: failed
Status: 5.0.0
Why Original-Recipient is and Final-Recipient is ?
I look in to my /var/log/zimbra.log and i see this:
Jun 12 15:28:23 zmail postfix/smtpd[796]: connect from mail.bbb.com[192.168.1.200]
Jun 12 15:28:23 zmail postfix/smtpd[796]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from mail.bbb.com
[192.168.1.200]: 504 5.5.2 : Recipient address rejected: need fully-qualified address;
from= to= proto=SMTP helo=
Jun 12 15:28:23 zmail postfix/smtpd[796]: disconnect from mail.bbb.com[192.168.1.200]
What is mean "Recipient address rejected: need fully-qualified address"?
Thanks!

Recipient address rejected: need fully-qualified address
still no reply for this error???
i installed zimbra in my VM for testing. the domain for zimbra server is zimbra.example.com. my primary server is example.com using communigate pro (cgp server). all email to *zimbra.example.com from cgp server redirect to zimbra server via routing rule (Relay:*zimbra.example.com = [172.16.1.21].
i also added zimbraMtaMyNetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 172.16.0.0/16 but my zimbra still reject all relayed messages.
Nov 8 16:01:14 zimbra postfix/smtpd[30230]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[172.16.4.16]: 504 5.5.2 : Recipient address rejected: need fully-qualified address; from= to= proto=ESMTP helo=

Recipient address rejected: need fully-qualified address
Consider this typical Split Domain example:
Your domain is example.com.
Your existing mail infrastructure lives on the host "mail.example.com" (assuming single node install for simplicity, though what we are discussing should also work on multi-node).
Your domain example.com has MX records that point to host "mail.example.com".
Users "foo@example.com" and "bar@example.com" exist in the old system.
You installed Zimbra on the host "zimbra.example.com" and created the domain "example.com" on it also.
You have migrated the mailbox of user "foo@example.com" to the Zimbra system, using one of our migration tools documented elsewhere.
this is not what i mean.
i have cgp as primary server that hold @example.com and the internal mx for that domain is mail.example.com (172.16.4.16).
i have zimbra as secondary server that hold @zimbra.example.com and the internal mx for that domain is mail.zimbra.example.com (172.16.1.21).
i want send email from cgp to zimbra vice versa and not from internet to zimbra.
i already add mail route in primary server to redirect all email with destination *zimbra.example.com to 172.16.1.21.
i want to know, how to accept relay from trusted ip in zimbra?
