7.1.2 p1

Post by soba@ukw.edu.pl »

I applied P1 - http://files2.zimbra.com/downloads/7.1. ... A_3273.tgz for ZCS 7.1.2
after upgrade I can't see change version of my Zimbra info page.

I still have GA_3268
zmcontrol -v

Release 7.1.2_GA_3268.SLES11_64_20110804130756 SLES11_64 FOSS edition.
cat .install_history

1317307985: INSTALL SESSION START

1317307985: UPGRADED zimbra-core-7.1.2_GA_3273

1317307989: UPGRADED zimbra-store-7.1.2_GA_3273

1317307989: INSTALL SESSION COMPLETE

1317307989: CONFIG SESSION START

1317307989: CONFIGURED BEGIN

1317307989: CONFIGURED patch7.1.2_P1

1317307989: CONFIGURED END

1317307989: CONFIG SESSION COMPLETE

When I try reinstall the P1 (3273) patch I have this output:
#root:> ./installPatch.sh

Current Version: 7.1.2_GA_3273

Current install 7.1.2_GA is the same or newer then patch version.

I don't understand:

telnet domain.com 143

Zimbra IMAP4rev1 server ready

A001 ID NIL

* ID ("NAME" "Zimbra" "VERSION" "7.1.2_GA_3273" "RELEASE" "20110925231214")

A001 OK ID completed

Why the users GUI show still 7.1.2_3268 ?
Ps. I checked manually - all files /opt/zimbra are up to date. This is probably only patch naming version problem. :)

Patches don't usually change the version number when doing a zmcontrol -v

Where did you get 7.1.2 p1? I don't even see it posted on my support site. What does it fix?

It seems that in a mult-node setup, the patch only applies to the mailstore?
Can anyone confirm?
