The Yearly Dread of buying Zimbra

Post by lithorus »

Hi,
So now I'm at the yearly dread, when I have to buy another year of Zimbra Collaboration Server. Don't get me wrong I like the product, but why does it have to be so hard to actually BUY it.
I contacted one of the resellers listed on the homepage who was closest to me. Waited 2 weeks with no answer. Then decided to fill out the "Get a Quote" form on the Zimbra site and 2 weeks in and I have yet to receive any contact.
Please! I'm begging on my knees to give you my money!

Hi Lithorus,

Where are you based? We might be able to help you find a suitable reseller who will respond immediately.

You have probably looked through this list: http://www.zimbra.com/partners/resellers - if you set the region to Europe it will provide the largest result set. There is no provider listed for Denmark.

Looking at the worldwide list of VARs which we have access to, I can see that Fredslund Aps http://www.fredslund.net/ is listed as an Authorised Partner.

If you are able to purchase in Euro or GBP or USD then I can put you in touch with one of our VARs based in the UK who will be able to transact your deal very quickly. Please PM me or contact us via our website which is listed in my profile.

Perhaps they don't use Zimbra as their mail server. [:D]

LOL - I guess I walked into that one Bill ;-)

Lithorus has no profile so I have no idea what his email might be, otherwise I would have searched the logs to check whether the email had reached us or not.
