Does Zimbra dumpster works with imap clients ?

Hi,
Just want to figure it out if a user delete/empty his trash folder it may be possible to restore it from the Dumpster using the webmail GUI ?
Can't find this information anywhere. I'm deploying zimbra 8.6.0 and have Thunderbird as imap clients.

Hi adrio_br,

I have tested this scenario also using Zimbra 8.6.0 - deleting the messages from the Trash in Thunderbird - and was not possible to restore the messages from the Dumpster using the Webmail.

I don't think there is a way to change this behaviour. As far as I know.

I was suspicious about that. I wish it could work with Thunderbird or Outlook. That'd be a great addition to Zimbra

That's awesome. I'm involved in a zimbra deployment right now and will schedule an update this week... hope it works.

I confirm that after install the update, this feature is fully available using the Webgui and Imap clients. Thanks for Sharing.

Hello

I have 8.7.6 version and this problem persist. Thunderbird delete messages permanently.
