Message Count/Volume all ZERO since day of 8.6 upgrade/server name change

SO, after 3 days of running nothing has populated into the Message Count/Volume charts.

Any idea where I should look next?

I noticed you said your charts aren't showing data. Maybe there's something weird with the zmlogger or syslog after the name change?

(sending the data to the server name before the change in your syslog/rsysconf)

hmm, your zmstats-log shows it's logging the stats data, but the soap request is not picking anything up. That's weird.

Have you tried running the server statistics setup script again after changing your host name? Maybe it'll push whatever is missing into the right place: (as root user) /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup

Run that on each server. From my understanding, it should fix the syslog/rsyslog to the correct info, so it shouldn't cause any harm, at least.

Can that command be run while zimbra is running?

I looked up the wiki for the command, https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Configuring-Logger-Host , and it suggests stopping zimbra - but when I ran it with zimbra down it complained that it could not talk to LDAP.

Hi, I have the next commands here from another answer in the past, try them:

   Remove all zmstat pid files: (as root) rm /opt/zimbra/zmstat/pid/zmstat-*.pid
   Restart zmlogger: zmloggerctl restart
   Run zmsyslogsetup: (as root) /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup
   Restart rsyslog: (as root) /etc/init.d/rsyslog restart
   run zmstatuslog: (as root) /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmstatuslog
   restart zmstatctl - zmstatctl restart
   Give it 3-5 minutes

Hi Jorge,
Thanks for the reply. I ran through those commands maybe 90 minutes ago, and still there is no data coming through that I can see.
I also tried manually navigating through the "Advanced Statistics -> newhostname.mydomain.com -> zmmtastats -> mta_volume and it generates an exception. This might be the root of the problem if I can find out where this is coming from. The same happens of mta_count
Where can I look to try to find an error log that might point me in the right direction to fix this?

From what I can see, if I select Advanced Statistics - select the Server, and select any Group other than zmmtastats from the middle drop-down list, then selecting any counter from the right hand drop-down will produce charts.

If I select zmmtastats from the middle drop-down, I will always get the error as shown above.
