Zimbra auto provisioning with aliases

Hi,
I'm trying to deploy auto provisioning from Openldap and I would like that the aliases would also be created automatically.

I mean, in the source Ldap there is the "mailAlternateAddress" and I would like to use it to set zimbraMailAlias but this attribute is immutable in Zimbra. Is there any way to accomplish this?

I haven't been able to do this from autoprovisioning.

mailAlternatAddress or zimbraMailAlternatAddress, MailAlias or zimbraMailAlias are all non-zimbra attributes and the autoprovisioning fails.

I have once solved this with a 1 min cronjob, that retrieves the alias and provides it via 'zmprov aaa'.

Are there any better solutions?
