Hi folks,
I'm having a real 'mare at the moment.
Having just cleared up a .locky attack, I checked my attachments settings. Now I know I had blocked a whole list and added .zip but to my great annoyance, the list was blank!
I set it again, and every time I click save it says "MTA Settings SAved" or similar and it looks great. If I click away and back again to that page I find that the settings are blank again. What gives? I don't know of anywhere where I have over-ridden those settings so I'm really stuck.
Could anyone please help?
thanks,
Fred

Re: Cannot make Block Attachments settings "stick" in Global Settings 8.6
as a followup, if I try via SSH
[zimbra@mail root]$ zmprov gc Default zimbraAttachmentsBlocked TRUE
# name default
zimbraAttachmentsBlocked: FALSE
What am I doing wrong?

I think while you access Zimbra Admin, connection still have cache. Please clear cache first in your browser.
You can try to add attachment block using command line
Code: Select all
su - zimbra
zmprov mcf +zimbraMtaBlockedExtension locky
