Active Directory distribution list

Hi, how can i integrate AD distribution list in zimbra without using zimbra native distribution list?
I have integrate GAL AD, i can see AD distribution group and explore the contents from zimbra, but if i send an email to a AD distribution group account (es
distribution.marketing@email.com) i get a NDR report.

We are experiencing the same issue, I am not sure this is possible when you thing about it as the MTA i don't think checks the gal for address availability, Perhaps Zimbra can weigh in.
We are also not able to use the "active directory" gal sync but have to choose ldap.

Thank you for you feedback, how do you workaround this big problem?
Same here about GAL sync, we configure it as LDAP with
LDAP filter "(&(mail=*))" and
autocomplete "(|(cn=%s*)(sn=%s*)(gn=%s*)(mail=%s*))"
Because we are migrating from exchange, we have huge amount of distribution group that will be a pain in the **s to maintein in both Active directory DL and Zimbra DL.
Other mail server based on postfix (as zimbra) can achieve this.

I have a ZCS network edition and i can not understand how can an enterprise product don't have this feature by design.
