Under the terms of the licence agreement for ZCS you are not allowed to remove or modify the Zimbra logo, do not do this.

Bill,

They are following the guidance provided in the zimbra blog here https://blog.zimbra.com/2015/09/change- ... k-edition/

pandiyanmaruthu,

As mentioned in that blog are you certain you did the following "Be sure that you give these files the proper zimbra rights, and run the next commands as zimbra user:"

Thanks for reply,
I followed your suggested link only but i am not getting the result i am using "zcs-8.6.0_GA_1153.RHEL7_64.20141215151110 version",the issue is
zmprov md example.com zimbraSkinLogoURL https://mail.example.com
zmprov md example.com zimbraSkinLogoLoginBanner /logos/MyLoginBanner.png
zmprov md example.com zimbraSkinLogoAppBanner /logos/MyAppBanner.png

after above steps i am not getting any *.png files in "/opt/zimbra/jetty/webapps/zimbra/logos/" directory.

Yes, I understood that from the description but the words "...changing the logo...." are what I was responding to - I tend to take statements like that literally (perhaps too much, at times). :)

Those steps will not give you *.png files in the directory. They will only tell zimbra where to look and what file name to look for.

It is up to you to create the directory, create the logo files, and to put them into that directory, ensuring that the zimbra user has appropriate rights to read and display the files.

Hello,
Have you tried to follow the next commands:

Code: Select all

mkdir /opt/zimbra/jetty/webapps/zimbra/logos/
chown zimbra:zimbra /opt/zimbra/jetty/webapps/zimbra/logos/
Then add your MyLoginBanner.png and the MyAppBanner.png, and then finally:

Code: Select all

zmprov md example.com zimbraSkinLogoURL https://mail.example.com
zmprov md example.com zimbraSkinLogoLoginBanner /logos/MyLoginBanner.png
zmprov md example.com zimbraSkinLogoAppBanner /logos/MyAppBanner.png
zmmailboxdctl restart
That should work
