Migration from Network edition to open source

I'm confused; you are currently on 8.6 Network Edition yes?

If so, you must convert to Open Source Edition in two steps:

First, you must install the 8.6 Open Source Edition over your existing 8.6 Network Edition.

Next, you upgrade your 8.6 Open Source Edition to the latest 8.7 Open Source Edition.

I first make upgrade network upgrade, then I make install 8.7 open source edition over 8.7 network edition.
When I install 8.6 open source edition over 8.6 network edition was it same.

Now I have:
zimbra@mail:~$ zmcontrol -v
Release 8.7.1.GA.1670.UBUNTU14.64 UBUNTU14_64 NETWORK edition.


But webadmin write:
zimbra version: 8.7.1.GA.1670.FOSS

Well, I have no idea how you got there, but at this point what I would do is:

First, download the 8.7.1 FOSS tgz for your platform from this page: https://zimbra.org/download/zimbra-collaboration/8.7

While there, also download the 8.7.3 FOSS tgz.

Next, run the 8.7.1 FOSS installer, and see if that doesn't clean things up so that both the Admin Console and zmcontrol -v report that you are running the FOSS version.

If so, then you should upgrade to 8.7.3 FOSS and be finished.
