How do I disable Zimbras Spam checking, but keep Anti-Virus checking?
And as a follow-up, is there a way to distinguish between e-mail automatically tagged/handled as Spam by Zimbra, and e-mail messages on which the user has clicked the "Spam" button?
(The reason for the first question is that most articles I've found talk about completely removing this or that to disable internal checking, but I want to keep anti-virus checking)

Re: [8.7.3] Disable SPAM but keep ANTI-VIRUS
Hello,
first question : yes
Second : Zimbra has its own tag which can be set in the administration console ans mails being tagged as SPAM by end user are not automatically tagged as SPAM by the anti spam system. It works with Bayesian algo.
But you can know which mail has been tagged with the Zimbra Spam System account.
Regards,
first question : yes
Code: Select all
zmprov ms $(zmhostname) -zimbraServiceEnabled antispam
zmcontrol restart
But you can know which mail has been tagged with the Zimbra Spam System account.

Is there a way to make the "Junk / Spam" button/functionality disappear from the UI/menus, short of hacking the themes?
