Multi-server and local , global parameters

Post by inle »

Hello

We have a multi-server config 2 MTA/PROXY and 2 MAILBOX/LDAP

We would like to know wich is the selected parameters when here are both local and global parameters?

for instance the output of "zmprov gcf zimbraHttpThrottleSafeIPs" is not the same as the output of "zmprov gs `zmhostname` zimbraHttpThrottleSafeIPs"

Converselly the output of "zmprov -l gacf zimbraHttpThrottleSafeIPs" "zmprov -l gcf zimbraHttpThrottleSafeIPs" "zmprov gcf zimbraHttpThrottleSafeIPs" is the same.

Should we delete local config parameters and leave only global parameters i mean those create with "zmprov mcf"

Sincerily

zmprov gacf => global parameter
zmprov gcf => inherited parameter I supposed
zmprov gs $(zmhostname) => local server parameter

If local server parameter is set, this is the one who is applied.
