hello, i just had the managment of a zymbra server, the last admin didnt left any documentation and there is a rule on configuration that:
when a user miss type 5 times his password the whole ip gets blocked, its makes that my whole office cant log in.
how do i turn of this option? im new with this client.
thx
IP block
Re: IP block
I would whitelist the LAN subnet 192.168.x.x/24 from the zimbra DOSfilter (https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/DoSFilter)
And if you access through a proxy server in front of the Zimbra server I would aslo set the trusted IP of the proxy server (https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Log_Files)
Then check if you have fail2ban and if it's properly configured to ignore the local network from being banned
Hope it helps...

Re: IP block
Set this parameter to 0 : zimbraInvalidLoginFilterMaxFailedLogin to disable it.
