Zimbra RBLs

Hi all,

I need to open port on firewall to connect many site to check Real-time Black List (RBL). I should open port 53 or more?

"zen.spamhaus.org
dnsbl.sorbs.net
bl.spamcop.net"

Any help would be appriciated.!!

If your firewall has separate Ingress and Egress rules, then yes, you will need to open TCP Port 53 Egress to ALL networks. Do not open up TCP Port 53 Ingres however.

This will allow Zimbra and/or a local BIND9 instance on the Zimbra server to make DNS queries.
