Ive read that since i think 8.5 the way to apply smtp restrictions has changed and has to be done now fully ldap
so ive set the zimbraMtaRestriction like this
Code: Select all
zmprov gcf zimbraMtaRestriction
zimbraMtaRestriction: check_policy_service inet:127.0.0.1:60000
zimbraMtaRestriction: reject_non_fqdn_sender
zimbraMtaRestriction: reject_unknown_sender_domain
zimbraMtaRestriction: reject_rbl_client ix.dnsbl.manitu.net
however my blocklists are worked trought
now for some reason i cant get it to work. it seems it never relays to postgrey.
do i really need to edit
/opt/zimbra/conf/zmconfigd/smtpd_recipient_restrictions.cf
after all ive read it should nto be edited anymore because serverconf should be taken palce globally over ldap and no longer locally
also the restrictions.cf file wont survive an upgrade
i know i could use zimbras built in policy daemon but i want to avoid that thing at all costs
