What is the 'OCS' version and what do you mean by Autodiscover and why do you need it? It's always best if you indicate which version is in use by posting the full output of the following command:

Code: Select all

zmcontrol -v

Sorry.... :( It's actually an open source version ...

Code: Select all

[zimbra@mail ~]$ zmcontrol -v
Release 8.7.0_GA_1659.RHEL7_64_20160628202714 RHEL7_64 FOSS edition.
User count is high. I want to switch to the new version. For this reason, I do not want to manually configure. I want the e-mail server settings to come up automatically. Users only write passwords. For example, Thunderbird only needs to write username@domain.com ... I want to be like this.

Can you help me with this?

I don't really understand what you're asking. What do you mean by "switch to the new version", do you mean you want to upgrade your current ZCS version or install a new ZCS version on a new server then move everything across to the new server? If you mean upgrade the current server then just upgrading with the new ZCS version will upgrade the whole of ZCS and everything will stay the same, your users and configuration will not have changed.

Yes, I will install it on the new server. But I want users to have their Outlook settings come up automatically. Only the user name and password should be enough. All settings must come from the DNS server. Is this possible ?
Thunderbird is this automatic. All email server settings are automatic.

Hello,
We have a wiki about how to auto-configure AutoDiscover for ActiveSync, but that's only on Zimbra Suite Plus or Network Edition, for Thunderbird, please read the next article and pick the best option for you: Best regards
