The mailbox service doesn't authenticate against the MTA and thus you don't get the info about the authenticated user.

Hi,
I would like to configure a CBPolicyd Quota using SASLUsername track. From cbpolicyd logs It seems that SASLUsername is empy when sending mail using ZCS Webmail. SASLUsername is not empty if using Thunderbird with smtp authentication (port 465).
Why SASLUsername is empty when sending mail through webmail?

P.S I'm using ZCS 8.7.11 OSS

thank you for your quick reply.
So, if I correctly understood, I cannot protect MTA using SASLUsername tracking. This is because, If I enable this option, all users accessing webmail will increment the same quota...right?
