Meltdown and Spectre

Has anyone applied the patches to fix Meltdown and Spectre yet? Do you encounter any performance issue after the fix?
What could be the potential risk if we don't patch the OS for Zimbra? If they do not have ssh access, will they still be able to steal passwords etc?
