Configuration with public IP

Post by Pepe »

Hello everyone!
Im not sure if this go here, if not im sorry.
I got a public IP with my ISP provider along with a domain on godaddy (not sure if worth it or not) and i want to do online testing, configuring on outlook and thunderbird, webmail, send/recieve mails and all what normally do with mail servers. My question is how do i configure my servers in order to achieve this?
Im doing this lab under CentOS, one dns and other the zimbra open source, both in lan server with IP 192.168.200.xxx/27 and the public IP is 190.xx.xx.xx
Zimbra services work well on lan but when i try to do this from internet is not working. Where i put the public IP in dns?
Thank you!

This has been covered many times in the forums and it's also (briefly) mentioned in the release notes, you need to have valid DNS records for your ZCS server when you behind a NAT router and that requires a Split DNS - read the wiki article on the subject or any of the many forum threads.
