I'm using zimbra OS 8.7.11 / Ubuntu 16.04:
Somehow the cbolicyd database got corrupted the log shows:
[TRACKING] ERROR: Failed to record session tracking info: awitpt::db::dblayer::DBDo(173): Error executing command
....
database disk image is malformed
I was unable to send or receive any message being local or not. for every incoming/outgoing message postfix reports:
450 4.7.1 .. : Sender address rejected: Access denied;
The problem was difficult to find and i was useless trying to reconfig the reject rules of postfix.
I'm suggesting you to disable cbpolicyd checks if its database does not pass some integrity checks, or report its errors in the zimbra.log
Thank You,
Cbpolicyd database corrupted postfix 450 4.7.1

Hi! I'v got the same with Release 8.8.12_GA_3794.
CBPolicyd sqlite DB file is corrupt, causing mail server rejecting mails.
/opt/zimbra/log/cbpolicyd.log: [TRACKING] ERROR: Failed to select session tracking info: awitpt::db::dblayer::DBSelect(126): Error executing select: no such table: session_tracking
/var/log/zimbmra.log: 450 4.7.1 <xxxx@xxx.com>: Sender address rejected: Access denied;

Re: Cbpolicyd database corrupted postfix 450 4.7.1
You can reinitialize the database and reimport your rules in just a few minutes.
/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmcbpolicydinit will overwrite your existing database and create a new one from the supplied templates.
You can then just reimport your rules.
More info here: https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Cluebringer_Policy_Daemon
Hope that helps,
Mark
