Ajax on mobile browser cuts off folder list

After the last few patches updates to 8.8.10 the ajax browser appears to be too wide and cuts off the folder list on mobile browsers

Works fine for me but what's wrong with using the mobile UI on a mobile?

Mobile view is very unpleasant to look at and does not offer the option to query external accounts.

That's fine but, as I mentioned, the ajax version works fine for me on my mobile although I actually use mobile client (nine) to access my mail.
