[ZCS 8.8.10 FOSS] using zmbackup on zimbra multi-server

Post by wodel »

Hi,

Does anyone use zmbackup to backup Zimbra FOSS?

I am using it and I had a problem when I changed the maximum parallel processes used to do the backup from 3 to 5 I got this error :

Code: Select all

Zmbackup: account@example.com - --2018-11-18 11:48:20-- 172.16.19.31#012Connection to (zimbrastore1.example.com)|172.16.19.31|:7071...connected.#012request HTTP transmitted, waiting for response...429 Too Many Requests#0122018-11-18 11:48:20 ERROR 429: Too Many Requests
I ended up with some accounts saved and other not, is there a way to tweak the number of connection used by Zimbra.

I found something about DoS attacks and white list IPs, but I am executing the backup process from store machine itself, which belong already to the white list

Regards.

Hello,

I think it is problem of the soap session number not really DDoS filter. You can increase this number.
