Hi all,
I recently built on ubuntu server VM the ZCS for testing purposes. The mail exchange server is linked to a windows server 2016 DNS server on a different VM. I can resolve the name of the server e.g. https://mail.example.test from browser within the windows server machine but when i try to do that from another browser independent of the VMs i cannot access with the domain names but only with the IP.
I have added on DNS settings of the Windows server an A record and an MX record for my exchange server. I understand that this is a matter of DNS but is there anything else i have to apply?
Newbie on ZCS so any information is appreciated.

Read the wiki articles on Split Domain and Split DNS, they should tell you all you need to know, if you have any specific questions after reading those then post again.
