Hello gentlemen.
Question on possible solution architecture.
We are studying version 8.8.11 GA, FOSS.
Please tell me if any of the versions of the ZСS can pick up mail for POP3 from the external account on the hosting? Or for this you need to use something like fetchmail? Implement a full-fledged mail server at home, and independently ensure its operability, fault tolerance, etc. not ready yet.
Thank.

Re: Basic architecture
Zimbra FOSS supports adding external mail accounts to localaccount, imap and pop3. Local zimbra accounts can pull email from imap/pop3 from remote servers.
ie, I can have a zimbra foss installation, with a local account, and have it mirror down my gmail mail.

Hello Matt.
Thanks for the answer.
I don't know the language well enough - apparently I could not formulate the question correctly. I will try again.
Like this:
http://shahzadlinux.blogspot.com/2016/0 ... -smtp.html
i configured to send messages.
Now you need the same with authorization, pick up mail.
The question is - can this be done by means of Zimbra, or will it be necessary to do something like this?

Thanks again.
