My setup details :
OS : Ubuntu 14.04.05 X64
Zimbra : 8.8.12.GA.3794.UBUNTU14.64 UBUNTU14_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.8.12_P1 proxy.
Working Mode : RELAY (Zimbra downloading incoming mails from pop.mydomain.com and sending outgoing mails through connecting to smtp.mydomain.com)
I'm setting users out of office message through webmail and selecting "Send standard message to external domains" while setting out of office message. It works correctly between same domain but not sending out of office message to external domains.
For example :
Sender : abc@mydomain.com(Out of office message set) Recipient : zxc@mydomain.com --> zxc@mydomain.com receives out of office message from abc@mydomain.com user.
But if :
Sender : abc@gmail.com Recipient : abc@mydomain.com -->abc@gmail.com is not receiving any out of office message from abc@gmail.com, tried with 3 different external domain but non of them received out of office message from abc@mydomain.com.
Checked mail logs (mailbox.log) there is no error, i'm seeing that Zimbra downloading mails from pop.mydomain.com and delivering to abc@mydomain.com's inbox but not sending out any out of office message back to sender.
I've allready tried to reduce cache life time of the Out of office setting(set to 0) from admin panel and zmprov fc -a all command to clear to cache but not helped.
