No stats and services stat stopped

Post by wodel »

Hi,

We have a multi-servers installation of Zimbra composed of : two Zimbra LDAP servers Master/Master, two Zimbra MTA/Proxy servers and one Zimbra Store for now.

We are using the latest version of Zimbra FOSS installed on CentOS7, the OS is fully updated except for the kernel. We have to follow the compatibility matrix of our virtualization solution.

Code: Select all

Release 8.8.12_GA_3794.RHEL7_64_20190329045002 RHEL7_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.8.12_P4

Code: Select all

Linux zstore01.example.com 3.10.0-957.1.3.el7.x86_64
We are facing a strange problem with the monitoring part of Zimbra :
- Services are shown as stopped in the admin console, but if we restart logger and wait a few minutes, the state become green again for a couple of days and then the problem reappear again.
- We have no stats about our mail traffic "no data avaimable", when looking on /opt/zimbra/logger/db/data/rrds we sow that new files are not being created, but again if we restart the logger, new rrd files are created for a sometime then it stops again.

It's like the logger gets stuck somewhere and does not treat the new data anymore.
Any Ideas?

Regards.

Hi,

I discovered another problem, the Daily mail reports are empty (zero filled).

When launched manually the report is good, it contains data.
I then created a new entry in Zimbra's crontab for that CMD, and the report was good.
It'is weird.
I think I ma getting close to the problem, but I don't see it

Regards.

Hi again,

I did upgrade my Zimbra installation to 8.8.15 and still have the same problems with services status and emails stats.

About the stat of Zimbra services, what I did found in the zmlogswatch.out is that if I restart the zmloggerctl service I get this :

Code: Select all

zmrrdfetch server pid: 104567

Hi,

I did execute manually this command for all of my zimbra servers and now I have some graphics on the console the 30 and 60 days stats but no 48 hours status "no data available".

/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmrrdfetch -f zmstatuslog -h zldap02.examlpe.com -s 1567660000 -e 1567935191
/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmrrdfetch -f zmstatuslog -h zmta01.examlpe.com -s 1567660000 -e 1567935191

This means that the data is collected, but why it is not shown and why the stat of zimbra services keeps getting wrong after sometime???
