Hi

There are a lot of dokumentation about Backup NG bud somehow I can not find how to setup or install the Backup NG version in zimbra 8.8.15.
could someone point me to the right documentation ?

AFAIK, the NG modules should be installed with the NE install unless you answered "N" and didn't install them: https://blog.zimbra.com/2018/01/install ... 6-04-lts/.

You then need to initialise them: https://zimbra.github.io/installguides/ ... teps-guide

thanks for the links my problem is,

that on the left side there is no backup ng entry

and the package is installed:
ii zimbra-network-modules-ng 6.0.2.1566228068-1.u16 amd64 Zimbra Network Modules New Generation

This used to happen in earlier versions. Undeploying and redeploying the zimlets, followed by a flush zimlet cache and a mailbox restart worked for me.

Hi,

I faced something similar when upgrading some customers to 8.8.12. Take a look at "issue 8" here viewtopic.php?t=65924. Basically, you need to see how this is configured "zmprov gacf zimbraNetworkModulesNGEnabled" (you'll also need to check that at a server level). Maybe this is what's happening to you?
