Re: BLOCK TLD
This should absolutely be in the wiki. There is colossal amounts of spam coming from TLDs like .icu that can often be safely blocked. Zimbra's antispam is well behind the times and is minimally effective these days.

An internet search would have found this: https://www.davidmartinwhite.com/2016/1 ... h-postfix/fladnar wrote:No way to do that?
I haven't tried it and I don't know whether it does, or does not, work with Zimbra and I take no responsibility if you use it and it eats all of you email. If it does work you can always put an article in the Zimbra wiki

There's a (buggy) zimbra wiki article that almost works:
https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Domain_lev ... g_of_users
The exact steps (as zimbra user) are:
Code: Select all
cd ~/conf
echo 'icu REJECT' >postfix_reject_sender
postmap postfix_reject_sender
zmprov ms `zmhostname` +zimbraMtaSmtpdSenderRestrictions "check_sender_access lmdb:/opt/zimbra/conf/postfix_reject_sender"
zmmtactl restart

Quite right!siliconalchemy wrote:^^ Which is exactly why nobody else here should be doing it.
Then why don't you create a 'correct' wiki article on the subject and people wouldn't have to read rubbish that I post in the forums. It's also possible to do that in Rspamd but I guess most people wouldn't want to install a better anti-spam system just to solve a little problem like this. There's a (buggy) zimbra wiki article that almost works:

Trying this, thank you!
Re: BLOCK TLD
It always helps if you explain at the start what steps you've tried to fix you problem and whether they worked or not otherwise people waste time giving you the same information you've already looked at.fladnar wrote:Been there, done that, unfortunately, it does not work
