Adding Wildcard Certificate

I know this has been asked several times but I'm not sure any of the other instances apply or are similar enough.

I have a ZCS server on 8.5 and I need to install a wildcard certificate from our domain.

I am new here and no one seems to have the private key for the old certificate which seems to be needed.

I this anyway to install the wildcard without it? Or do I need to get a single certificate for this server?
