The logs would appear to show that the yahoo server is hanging up on you. Perhaps try sending it an email manually to find out why that might be. There is literally reams of information available using a google search of the error message you are getting. Did you happen to look at any of those? They mostly relate to your sending IP having issues, poor reputation or being in block lists.

Oh, and don't "bump" posts, it's rude. If you are going to bump a post, do it by adding some useful information like "I tried this and it gave that response".

Do you guys think this is on my end or to yahoo or my ISP?
saw too many possibilities online.

i can send and receive to other domains with no problem.
while yahoo, i can only receive.
all my email going to yahoo are deferred. and no bounce back.

As the girls say, "it's not them, it's you."

It's working from here, so I suspect you are on an IP blacklist of some kind. There are plenty of blacklist checkers out there, perhaps punch your IP into a few and see what comes up.

Tested it with 2nd ISP, our yahoo outgoing went well.

Tried to message yahoo postmaster, they are not really that helpful, all they reply to you are best practices and guidelines.

But they saw the error i sent same as the error i posted here which has "timed out" with it.
they said they do not have control when it comes to this error.

now this is my situation, if there are numbers of deferred emails going to yahoo, that's the time we change to 2nd ISP.
too much hassle.
we cannot use 2nd ISP as our main since this isp is not reliable and our subscription is only half speed compared to that our main.

would just like your thoughts on this.
do you think we really got blacklisted by yahoo? since i saw online if u get blacklisted by yahoo you will get bounce back message.

and im a bit confused.

when other mail provider like yahoo blacklist you,
is it your outgoing interface they are going to block?
not the assigned ip of zimbra?

since only thing i did was switch to dif isp, did not do any other configs like change dns records from domain provider.

That's pretty conclusive.

Generally it's just the outbound IP address.

I struggled with ISP issues for a while. For the last 7 years I've been using an external VPS ($100/year) as a relay host. Haven't had an issue since I did that. It just has a minimum Debian install using Exim as the MTA. It acts as a secondary for inbound and all our outbound mail goes over a VPN to that host to be sent.
