Shared Domain w/Exchange

Post by bsachnoff »

Rebooting works wonders... And now, I have the same problem as the original Poster. It does appear zimbra believes it is the authoritative server and does not allow the emails to flow back to exchange (for local delivery).
I'm still troubleshooting this...
Thanks for all the help!

I went to global settings and under MTA, Relay MTA for external delivery is the field I'm looking at. Sure sounds like this is NOT what I want. I read through the PDF Admin Guide and really didn't see it.

to change the outgoing mta, change the "Web mail MTA" from localhost to your exchange server.

Shared Domain w/Exchange

Hi, everybody

I'm new on Zimbra, and finally found what i needed.

I make it work sharing the same smtp domain with exchange. first i follow the instructions posted in microsft site, then in zimbra the webmail mta changed to exchange smtp, restart zimbra and voilá!! it works. May be there's another way, but it works for me now.
thanks for this great product.
