Bind with postfix

Hey. I'm helpin someone out
SUSE LInux 9

Zimba OpenSOurce 3.0.1
It looks like postfix is binding to 127.0.0.1 but not the ip address of the machine
for instance, I can telnet localhost 25, but not telnet 25
any suggestions?

Firewall problem? IIRC, SuSE comes up with a firewall on by default. There's also something called AppArmor which is a 'type' of SElinux, that's also on by default. Both of those will cause problems.
