Hey guys, as the question in the topic asks...
Will Zimbra ever be its own Linux Distro, so you just download an ISO burn it to disc and install it sorta like IPCOP and other Function Specific Distros?

Yes. Ok we'll we don't plan to re-invent the wheel but we will explore solutions to make Zimbra as easy to install as dropping an ISO on a CD and sticking that CD in a machine.

that would be slick.... sorta like "INSTANT OGo" however they change you for that... Zimbra could be built based on a Linux From Scratch system even.
of course what I'm talking about here isn't a liveCD either... I'm talking about a zimbra distro that gets written to the hard drive... how cool would that be.

They are one of the options we are looking at.
