Distribution List and Mailbox Forwarding

I have noticed that mail sent to a distribution list does not get forwarded by the individual Zimbra mail accounts to their respective forwarding email addresses, if any are defined. Is this the expected behavior and if so, is there a planned feature to support mail-forwarding for DLs? If not, is it possible to define the same alias for more than one mailbox?

This seems like a bug. Please file it in bugzilla. At this time only a distro list can point to more than one user.
