Would like to know if it would be possible to use OOO function on an external imap account on Zimbra

Please clarify "OOO" function? Is this a dev function() that I'm not aware of? Are you sure that "virtualization" is the correct place for this thread? (I'm very familiar with virtualization but I don't know about any OOO function).
