VM Appliance turns to Open Source version after trial ends??

Hi,

Just downloaded the trial version of the VM Appliance. Will this turn into the Open Source (Free) version once the trial ends or not?

I would also like to know what happens after the 60 day trial ends on the virtual appliance. Is it open source version? Is it a 10 user network edition? Is it no longer usable until you get a paid license for it?
hopefully someone knows the answer to this.
