attached files in message with Outlook activesync client problem

Hi,

we have installed zimbra network 8.6.0_GA_1153, and we have a problem with user connected with Outlook in ActiveSync.
Message with attached file over 20 MB are displayed with size of 7 MB and corrupted.
If user connect in web client the size of attached files is correct.

Hi,

FYI, We resolved the issue by increasing the zimbraMobileMaxMessageSize to whatever attachment size your organization require.

So if zimbraMobileMaxMessageSize is set to 10MB, then any attachments larger that 7MB will be corrupt or missing files (have in mind MIME Encoding which would be around 3MB for a 7MB attachment). so you would set the zimbraMobileMaxMessageSize to 15MB for a 10MB attachment to be one the safe side an so on! Best Thing to do is to set it to a high number to avoid any issues later!

This also resolves iPhone users who configured using Active Sync also and cannot open large attachments.
