Flter to Redirect to Address

Post by ferra »

Hi,

I'm using Zimbra 8.6.0 P7. When setting a fiter like From - matches exactly - name@domain.tld - all
perform the following actions:
Redirect to Address - name2@domain.tld
When I press Run Filter get this Informational message pop-up:
One or more of the selected filters contains an action to "Forward To Address". This action cannot be run on existing filters and will be ignored.

Any idea why?

thanks

Do you have any other filters ? If it's the case, try to deactivate it/them.

That's the only filter.
I also test it on version 8.7.0 and get the same message.

Any idea?

Thanks

I'm currently running 8.8.12_ga and this is still occurring. You can create the rule, you can activate the rule (I'm not sure if it actually runs or not), but there doesn't seem to be a way to run the rule...you get the message box and then it doesn't actually run the rule against any messages in the folder...
is there a way to use CLI to run the rule against a folder in a specific mailbox? OR is there a way to bulk forward a bunch of existing emails in a mailbox?

Highlighting a group of emails and right click redirect only redirects the first email in the selection.
