Briefly:
When is add meassage contains DOC or ZIP attachemnt with zmmailbox command, the Outlook2016 client says DOC page encoding error or ZIP corrupted. The other clients handle well the attachments.
In details:
I use ZCS 8.7.11
I do not use connector, is use only IMAP to reading mail.
I do this to migrate emails contains attachments DOC ZIP PDF from Dovecot Maildir into to Zimbra with this command:
/opt/zimbra/bin/zmmailbox -z -m bhollosi@uzimbra.linux.hu addMessage "/Inbox" "/dovecotmail/bhollosi/cur/1503472205.P25048Q0M798697.mail:2,S"
What is experienced:
Office 2016 client: the DOC attachment does not open in Office2016, it says code page error. ZIP says corrupted file. PDF is opened well there is no problem with it.
Thunderbird: No problem it opens well the DOC and ZIP
Zimbra Webmail: No problem it opens well the DOC and ZIP
If the mail arrived on SMTP or IMAP (Thunderbird imap to map drag end drop) there is no problem Outlook 2016 opens the DOC and ZIP attachment well.
