Hi,
one of my users is getting local failure notices everytime he opens outlook and therefore everytime zco is syncing:
here's an example
this e-mail was generated for technical support purposes.

everytime i try to open that id i get an error message that it is not possible to open this id.

It looks like the issue is with your Sent folder [id (5) type(folder)]. I might need to see a ZCO log file to see why you're getting this error. I don't know if this is because Outlook is not set up properly, or you have something in the Sent folder that shouldn't be there, etc. Perhaps a ZCO log would help in this case.

I would first try closing Outlook and deleting the .idm folder. This is the ID Mapper folder which is in the same place as the .zdb, probably Documents and Settings\Local SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftOutlook. It has the same name as the .zdb, but with the .idm extension.
Then restart Outlook. This file will be rebuilt. I don't know if it will help -- it might. Somehow, it doesn't know about special folders like Sent, etc. If that doesn't help, you may have to re-install Outlook for this user.

now i deleted the whole mail pfrofile on the client side to re-sync the whole profile from the beginning. Until yet everything looks fine now, but it hasn't finished yet.
I will leave a comment wheter this would solve the prob or not.

I hope this helps; it's very possible it will. I always like to try other alternatives before having to create a new profile. But sometimes, that's the only choice. I hope that will solve it -- otherwise I think you might have to uninstall and reinstall Outlook.

No meu caso, eu renomeie o arquivo de nome "Outlook.idm", localizado no diretório "C:Users estAppDataLocalMicrosoftOutlook".
