Windows 10 and Outlook 2013 - LSMSSP.dll issue

Post by n.sossonko »

I'm having this problem too with Office 365 x64 and using the connector, however, my problem is that the addins don't get activated in Outlook. So I can't manage any sharing (the entire Zimbra tab doesn't show). Exact same office worked previously on Windows 7/8/8.1, but with Windows 10 it just won't work. I've even tried adding the addins manually still no go.

So my particular issue was that I was using the demo version (which apparently does not allow addins). I reinstalled with the full version and it works perfectly (with the latest GA connector, not the dropbox versions).

Windows 10 and Outlook 2013 - LSMSSP.dll issue

Post by n.sossonko »

So now the issue I am having is that for some reason some of the devices with Office 365 and Windows 10 are not working properly again (even though it's the full version). During installation a Window pops up with this text:

Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.

Needless to say, I've tried setting Outlook as the default with no success. The issue I'm having is that the addins are not getting installed and cannot be added manually either. I am not sure if there is another piece missing here that needs to be installed (as a prerequisite for the Zimbra connector) but I have not had any success with whatever I've tried...

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Hi n.sossonko,

Can you please add your ZCO logs, etc, into a Support Ticket case? Did you have one already filled?

Let us know as well the entire Outlook version.

Best regards.

How do I get ZCO logs if I cannot install the extensions? There is no Zimbra tab in Outlook. The Office version is: 15.0.4745.1001. My support ticket is: 00186528. Another thing I noticed, on the computers with this issue there is no 'MSMAPI' folder under 'C:Program FilesCommon FilesSystem'

Hi

I've installed the ZimbraConnectorOLK_8.6.0.1315_x64.msi and have had it working for a few weeks. Now I'm getting this error message.

You are not licensed to use the zimbra connector with this server. You may continue to access your local data. Please contact your system administrator.

Anyone else have this, or know a solution? We have a licenced server, and everyone else using windows 7/8 are having no trouble. I've been having problems since moving to windows 10.
