ZCO compatibility

Post by bruceg »

Hello-

Not using Zimbra yet and trying to understand. Can ZCO be purchased as a stand alone addition to the open source version of Zimbra? If not, are there any 3rd party connectors available that work with Zimbra OS.

Secondly, does Zimbra OS support ActiveSync? My goal is to use connect to Zimbra with Outlook as well as email clients on smartphones and tablets.

Thanks in advance!

The answer to both of your questions is, no. ZCO is a NetworkEdition feature as is activesync, the reason for that is because activesync is a licensed product. You either need to purchase an NE licence or ZeXtras if you want those features. You could have found the answer by looking at the ZCS comparision or some of the forum threads that have covered this topic previously.

Hello, as phoenix said you need to purchase the Network Edition, please fill the next form - https://www.zimbra.com/contact-us/ if you need a quote, or you can try the Network Edition as well, 60-days - https://www.zimbra.com/try/zimbra-colla ... k-edition/
