Zimbra Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server on Open Source Edition

Post by ciscobox »

Hello!
I just want to ask if the Zimbra Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server is supported on the Open Source Edition?

Does it require licenses to activate?
I am very new with zimbra and right now I am doing some draft proposal to deploy zimbra here in our office.

Currently I am compiling all the features supported on open source edition then do some comparisions on the network edition.
thanks!

It is not supported on the Open Source Edition.
It does require an extra license, so it needs to be purchased on top of the Network Edition.

I see..

Yeah, I think eventually we would want to subscribe for the network edition within few months after the initial deployment on one of our remote site.
Can you suggest other features that might be useful in an enterprise level aside from blackberry supports?
