WebDAV support of RFC4918?

Post by cs8rfe »

Hi there

I read the following article in the Zimbra wiki and thought I could use the WebDAV function with 3rd party software.
After the first failed tests, I ran the litmus WebDAV test suite and ran into some errors.

Code: Select all

-> running ‘basic’:
0. init........... pass
1. begin.......... FAIL (Could not create new collection ‘/home/user@domain.com/Test/litmus/’ for tests: 501 Method MKCOL is not defined in RFC 2068 and is not supported by the Server API
Server must allow ‘MKCOL /home/user@domain.com/Test/litmus/’ for tests to proceed)
<- summary for ‘basic’: of 2 tests run: 1 passed, 1 failed. 50.0%
See debug.log for network/debug traces
Have I done something wrong? Or is there something I can do to get full WebDAV support in Zimbra? It would be nice, if there is an option integrated in Zimbra because I would prefer a solution without Own-/Nextcloud.

Kind regards

ANY suggestion on how to get full WebDav support in Zimbra or is this on a roadmap?

When I try to look at the roadmap with the link in the Zimbr Support Portal (https://pm.zimbra.com/) I do get some nice errors, starting with “SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN” and continuing with “We've detected a potential problem with JIRA's Dashboard configuration that your administrator can correct.“
So I am not sure how trustworthy/updated information from such a website is.

Sounds like this is what I was looking for:
https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=107798

So I think we can close this. Thanks for the overwhelming help ;)
