With upgrade to 8.8.5 Collaboration Server the caldav and carddav support ist gone.
https://server.local/dav
delivers empty page.
The result is, that zcard and zcal (android apps) are not working any more. Even Thunderbird with sunbird does not get any response.
Is there any way to get this support back?

Are the publicservice* variables set for the domain (name, port, protocol)?

I updated a 8.7.11 Version to 8.8.5.
Before update it works fine.
After update there is no connection to the dav link.
Where can i find the publicservice* Variables?

Code: Select all

zmprov gs server.local public*
Something like this?

With Android-APP DAVDroid it works with URL and Username
URL: https://zimbraServer.local/dav
Username: email-Address of User
Password: Password of User
It does not work with IP-Address

With Thunderbird it only works with username and Password like following:

Code: Select all

https://<USERNAME>:<PASSWORD>@zimbrahost.example.com/dav/<USERNAME>/Calendar
Without username and Password i couldnt get it work

Both Android-APPs zcal and zcard are not working.

In thunderbird we use 2 ways to configure calendars... both with lighntning extension and Thunderbird 52.6 32 bits

With ICS
https://<FQDN>/service/user/<email>/<Calendar name>

as caldav:
https://<FQDN>/dav/<email>/<calendarname>

Hello ... I have troubles with CARDDAV and my Zimbra OSS 8.8.9. Trying to connect with MacOS Address Book. I have done it in the past but now I can reconfigure anymore.

In MacOS I set "manual" type with:
User: my zimbra user (tried with or without the @domain.com)
Password: xxxxxx
Server: https://192.168.0.xxx:8443 (being my Zimbra https on 8443, also no "/dav" or I get an error)

When I press "sign in" all goes smoothly ... but I dont' see any contacts. I am sure I could connect before!
Where to start to look ? Thanks for any hints you may provide

we upgraded zimbra OSS 8.6 to 8.8.9 & now zimbra calendar sharing not works any more. webcal, ics, https nothing works. if i open the link after login to web interface except webcal it works. after click on webcal link it opens outlook & asks for user name password & even i enter correct password it not works. log file says response 401 must authenticate.
does any one have faced this ???

I just recently installed Zimbra OSE and have struggled getting many things working including calendar synchronization to android. Happy to report that pretty much everything is working now. I just got it after reading this and here is how:

Installed CalDav Sync Free Beta then went to Accounts--> Add selected CalDav

username: user@domain.tld
password: password
URL: https://mail.server.tld:8443
ID: whatever you choose

Not sure if there is a downside to using CalDav Sync Free Beta... I have not seen where to set sync options (timeframe) yet.

Hi, I try to get my Zimbra calendars with Thunderbird with help of this site: https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Accessing_ ... hunderbird, but calendar is inaccessible, and not sync with server.
MS Outlook 2013 configured as Exchange client works well but without access to shared calendars.
How to fix it?

Regards
Cthulhu

For me the same..
Updated to 8.8.7 and it doesn't work anymore fron Thunderbird and Lighting.

The 'https://<USERNAME>:<PASSWORD>@zimbrahos ... >/Calendar' Solution does work, but i don't like it to have the username and password in the url.
