Hi,
Is there a way to login to the demo server (as http://demo2.zimbra.com>) to test the Zimbra Desktop?
Thanks,
-Marc

Zimbra desktop is an offline that provides most of the capability of the Zimbra web client.
As a matter of fact, Zimbra Desktop is derived from the zimbra server.
The only way to test it (because it's a local client) is to install it.
Kinda like thunderbird. To demo it, you install it

Hi and thanks for your reply,
Of course I installed Zimbra desktop:rolleyes:
But to start it I must provide the Zimbra server to connect to, a username and a password.
For testing purposes, can I use http://demo.zimbra.com/zimbra/mail"?
And maybe "Dan Demouser" as a username:o
Otherwise how can we test Zimbra desktop? By setting up a server?
Thanks,
-Marc

Hi all,
So there is no way to test Zimbra Desktop without installing ZCS?
Thanks,

That is correct with the current version. It will be possible to run zdesktop without ZCS once POP/IMAP features are compleleted. Thanks!
